Reliable Long-Stroke Motion for Furniture and Panel Processing
CNC routers and woodworking machines require long travel lengths and high rigidity to ensure stable, smooth cutting across large surfaces. YYC provides precision racks designed for long-axis motion in furniture, MDF, and composite panel cutting systems. Each rack is manufactured from medium-carbon steel or SCM440 alloy, hardened to HRC 50–55 by laser or induction treatment for excellent wear resistance.
The typical module range in woodworking machines is M2 to M4, with precision levels from DIN 6 to DIN 9. Helical rack designs are preferred for quiet operation, ensuring vibration-free motion even over lengths exceeding 6 meters. YYC racks deliver excellent linear consistency and tooth profile accuracy, critical for maintaining edge smoothness during high-speed routing.
In multi-axis CNC routers, the X-axis may use up to 4–6 meters of rack length, while the Y and Z axes use shorter precision segments. Compared with belt or screw systems, YYC’s rack and pinion drives provide higher stiffness and better repeatability, ensuring seamless contouring for decorative wood, acrylic, and aluminum panels.
By integrating grinding, hardening, and tooth inspection in one controlled process, YYC guarantees consistent quality and long lifespan. Our racks are trusted by global woodworking OEMs for cutting, drilling, engraving, and nesting applications that demand both precision and durability.
